The containers have evolved since the mid eighties, when the original models where developed to meet the growing transportation needs. Lacking today’s dry ice and thermostat based control system, these containers were replaced by the current line of active temperature control models in the mid nineties.
Since then, active temperature control containers have helped to secure the value of temperature-sensitive products such as pharmaceuticals and perishables. The market has responded enthusiastically.
