This service provides you with information required to qualify the Envirotainer containers for temperature sensitive product shipments. The information is mainly needed during qualification but also to collect knowledge on use and operation of the container.

Envirotainer laboratory
In case you need to perform additional testing we can also offer testing in our climate chambers. Our cold chain consulting laboratory has been specifically developed to support your transportation system qualification process.
It consists of two climate chambers with the possibility to simulate different time and temperature profiles to suit your needs, for operational qualification (OQ) or other testing. This controlled environment gives you the possibility for seasonally independent testing all year round.
Shipping scenarios are simulated with real load configurations, packaging and under realistic ambient conditions (for example winter and summer profiles).
Envirotainer AB is authorized by the Swedish Medical Products Agency to handle pharmaceuticals for the purpose of temperature testing if you want to test with actual product or placebo.
Before testing a test protocol is always set up in cooperation with the customer. The protocol is approved by both parties before testing starts.
The test setup including temperature profiles and load configurations are documented in the official test protocol and the final test report provides a permanent record of test results and calibration data.

The Envirotainer climate chambers enable programmable temperature profiles with up to 40 steps.
The reference thermometer, used to calibrate the thermocouple sensors, is calibrated according to standard ISO/IEC 17025 at an external laboratory accredited by a Swedish authority.
