July 5, 2006
Envirotainer has appointed Interavion Pvt. Ltd in India to satisfy demand for its temperature-controlled air cargo containers from the country's aggressively growing healthcare industry.
Envirotainer has been carrying pharmaceutical products to and from India for more than a year, using Interavion as its local sales management for the region.
Ulf Uby, VP Sales of Envirotainer, commented: "We have experienced high levels of growth in India as customers are demanding better products and proven quality when shipping pharmaceuticals. A number of leading brand names in the healthcare industry in India have used Envirotainer's RKN and RAP containers extensively in the past year and we expect this to grow further."

The industry forecasts a yearly growth of over 20% until the end of the decade.
"We support the continued development and global growth of Indian pharmaceutical companies by using the cold chain management expertise of Envirotainer to provide the high quality of products and services and value for money they are seeking," states Col. Jayabhanu, MD, Interavion.
