Envirotainer names Martin Peter as vice president sales
June 18, 2007
Martin Peter has been appointed Vice President Sales by Envirotainer, providers of active temperature-controlled air cargo containers and cold chain management specialists to the healthcare industry.
He joined Envirotainer in 2002 from an international consultancy company, where he specialised in product differentiation within the transportation and travel industries. Prior to this new appointment, he was Director of Business Development and Marketing at Envirotainer with responsibility for developing the company’s service offering and worldwide sales channels.
Martin is based in Zurich and reports to Thomas Persson, CEO of Envirotainer.
Envirotainer is experiencing strong growth in demand for its services and equipment from the international healthcare sector. Over the next four weeks, it will be increasing the size of its 3,500 strong temperature-controlled container fleet by more than 10% to satisfy market demand. Earlier this year the company, headquartered in Sweden, also won its largest ever customer order worth 22 million SEK for its RGX advanced technology air cargo container.
"We have a clear sales focus to achieve profitable growth with our clients in the healthcare industry and with our airline and freight forwarding partners. We will achieve this through increased quality and availability as well as in validating, qualifying and monitoring cold chains for the pharmaceutical sector. To our partners in the logistics industry, Envirotainer will be a reliable partner that not only delivers the right container at the right time and quality but which also sets clear and simple rules on how to lease containers," said Martin Peter. |
