Envirotainer uses Apport and Memnon Network Applications to optimize logistics processes

Envirotainer has entered a multiyear cooperation agreement with Memnon Network Applications to use the Apport platform as its container booking and transport management solution. The platform will initially be launched to a small group of customers in September 2009. "Apport is the leading web booking solution in the market which combined with Memnon’s deep expertise within IT and logistics will create significant value to Envirotainer" says Operations Director, Gabriel Andersson. We have designed a solution where all our partners, suppliers and customers will be able to monitor their container bookings in real time throughout the Envirotainer network. The solution will also provide the market with reliable pricing information. The system will be designed according to the Envirotainer graphic profile, which will further strengthen our brand and presence throughout the supply chain, Gabriel Andersson continues.
The partnership with Envirotainer, a world leading provider of active temperature-controlled air cargo solutions, further strengthens our conviction that our webbased service Apport can create distinct customer value. Our flexible architecture and module based service combined economies of scale driven by a customer base of 30 000 registered customers makes a tailored service available at the cost of a standard application, says Memnon Account manager Mathias Bredin. We have over the last 10 years developed our service/product based on customer requests and today we see that the vast majority of customer demands can be resolved with our current product, Mr Bredin continues.
