New Los Angeles station, expanded Philadelphia operations and planned Montevideo relocation strengthen access to temperature-controlled logistics across the Americas
Envirotainer is expanding its network across the Americas. This expansion includes a new station in Los Angeles, increased capacity and capabilities in Philadelphia and a new site planned for Montevideo.
The investments strengthen Envirotainer’s presence across North and South America, giving pharmaceutical customers greater access to temperature-controlled logistics solutions and operational support across key trade lanes. This comes as pharmaceutical supply chains become more geographically distributed and demand and trade routes continue to evolve.
“Supply chain resilience is ultimately about giving our customers confidence that the right solutions, capabilities and expertise will be available when and where they need them”, said Barbara Morgan, Regional President, Americas at Envirotainer. “Our continued investment in the Americas is a direct response to how pharmaceutical supply chains are changing. By strengthening our network and expanding our local capabilities, we are helping customers navigate uncertainty, adapt to changing demand and maintain continuity across their supply chains”.
In Los Angeles, Envirotainer has added a second facility, expanding local access to ULD and Prooftainer ground handling and repairs, as well as Parcel Rental and Sales services. In Philadelphia, investment in dedicated Parcel facilities, additional warehouse capacity, new equipment and increased safety stock will support faster fulfilment and greater product availability. Envirotainer also plans to relocate its Montevideo operation to a new site in early October 2026, strengthening its base for supporting customers across Latin America while maintaining its existing service offering.
“The Americas is a strategically important region for pharmaceutical manufacturing, distribution and innovation, and our customers are looking for partners that can support them as their supply chains evolve”, said Aymeric Chandavoine, CEO at Envirotainer. “These investments strengthen our ability to be closer to our customers, provide faster access to solutions and expertise, and deliver the operational flexibility they need. By continuing to invest in our network, we are building the resilience required not only to support today’s pharmaceutical supply chains, but also to help our customers prepare for what comes next”.
By expanding capacity and capabilities across key pharmaceutical markets, Envirotainer is strengthening the infrastructure behind temperature-controlled logistics and helping customers maintain the safe and reliable movement of medicines to patients worldwide.
