For the Envirotainer RAP t2 and RKN t2, where dry ice is cooling the cargo to the right temperature, it’s important to calculate the right amount of dry ice to use.
How it works
The amount of dry ice needed for a shipment is calculated on the basis of the desired temperature of the cargo (i.e set temperature) in relation to the expected ambient temperatures, time of shipment and conditions throughout the transportation. Correct dry ice amount and type will enable optimum performance of the container and the safe delivery of your shipment.
