Investing in SAF through airline partnerships
Air freight remains the most carbon-intensive part of the pharma supply chain, yet it is often essential for time-critical, life-saving medicines. In 2025, we continued our commitment to lower-carbon transport by expanding collaboration with airline partners to integrate Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) into our network. Through programs such as Air France-KLM Cargo SAF, we supported the use of SAF on selected shipments, helping to reduce overall aviation emissions and accelerate the transition to a more sustainable global flight network.

United Airlines
In 2024, Envirotainer joined United Airlines’ Eco-Skies Alliance, securing certification for the purchase of Sustainable Aviation Fuel.
By contributing to this initiative, Envirotainer plays a key role in United’s goal to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, without relying on voluntary, traditional carbon offsets. Since 2021, the Eco-Skies Alliance has collectively supported the purchase of nearly 18.9 million gallons of SAF, demonstrating the power of shared investment in cleaner aviation.
